Hey,

I'm interested in getting my Bronco Sport lifted. I know it can only handle a 1.5" lift which I'm fine with, but has anyone does this yet? If so, how are you liking it?

My real question, however, is that Rough Country sells 2 different types on 1.5" lift kits. One involves struts ($699.95), and another that's priced at $199.95.

What is the real difference in these two? Would it be worth it to go ahead and get the lift kit that involves the struts? Is Rough Country a good brand to trust?

I'd personally rather get the one that makes the most sense and lasts the longest.

A strut kit will always be better for the car than a spacer kit. Spacers slightly change the geometry of the suspension, adding additional wear and tear.

I put the Rough Country kit on mine a few months back and so far I like it.

I installed the Eibach Spring Lift kit and like it. #Part #: E30-35-053-03-22 Badlands only. Make sure you get the alignment adjusters, you need them. 1.0" Front 0.7 Rear"

To answer you question about Rough Country... They've been doing lifts since at least the 1980's. Also known as a poor man's lift. The old saying holds true, you get what you pay for.

With that said, yeah I had a Rough Country lift way back when. I'll admit, I was poor when I was younger.

None of this should sway you though. It's not horrible, just a little rougher ride, but also much less expensive than other options. Some people will say steer clear, but personally, if it's what my budget called for, I'd do it. But I would go with the suspension (strut replacement) and avoid the pucks, just a better way to go. But pucks are fine if you are doing it just for looks.
