I have not tired them but my guess is that it has more to do with the overall ground clearance of the one for Bronco vs. Bronco Sport. The Sport one is angled upward away from the ground compared to the folding one.

Most of the ones I've seen are have poor construction. They don't balance well. As mentioned above they are very low to the ground. I have seen them bottom out going in and out of driveways. We built for my Dad's electric cart. We raised it 4 inches and added points to attach it to the trailer hitch to stabilize it. IMO a small trailer would be a better purchase. They now make the trailers that fold when not in use. Can be stored against your garage wall, in or outside. You will find you get more use of the trailer, better investment.

Whatever back rack or basket you use, you need to install an anti-rattle bracket that will tighten up the hitch, so it won't bounce around. Harbour freight has them cheap.

Thanks, all! It sounds like, at the very least, I should avoid the one that is meant for the big Bronco and stick to one that's going to give me better ground clearance. I'll definitely look into all these different options and we'll see where they take me!
