There need to be a better selection of merch for the Bronco Sport in the merch store. Would be nice to have options of Bronco Nation Bronco Sport items. I know this started out for the Full size, but with the popularity of the sport there needs to be some love to spread for us sports.

Anyone else wishing the same? What would you like to see added.

So many of the forum postings are devoted to Bronco-6G orders, waits, builds, pricing, etc. etc. These are not issues relevant to the B-Sport. The 2nd major subject is build and accessories. Again, less to involve the B-Sport crowd.
All this makes for a 6G fanzine, even cultic, mentality. Thus, the B-Sport crowd has less content and motivation to partake of the site.

The lack of representation is one thing. The Merch is generic and thats good. But way to many posts in the forum for the bronco sport are guys with Gen6 Broncos who are confused. So I got tired of clicking on a post to find them asking about removable doors or a better steel bumper. So at this point I just pop in now and then. The membership is what drives me away. Then leads to why buy the Merch? It sucks but Hey I am buying the vehicle that is just the runt of the litter accordibg to some. So who is John Galt? Maybe the Bronco Nation will get better for the Bronco Sport and maybe not. I am certainly not going to spend money to join a club that considers the vehicle an after thought. But hey like Wolf said instead of Chevy or Ford I was PONTIAC. My BSBL goes into production first week of January. Anyone in the Chicagoland area want to meet up this spring for the First Bronco Sport Ralley?
Thanks for your candid feedback. Interesting points.

The posts in the forums are what we make them. If you want more Sport material, then start that forum and be active to keep those topics high in the charts. Just because people don't talk about the Sport as much as you'd like doesn't mean someone is doing anything wrong. It sounds like you have a passion for Sport and the most interesting posts come from people with passion on the topic.

Maybe if the B-Sport was a platform more amenable to customization, options, and accessories. But that's not what Ford created. Instead, you've got a serviceable four-passenger three-cylinder about-town SUV in sane trim models. A "cool rig in a [sort of family] right" utilizing a well-established platform. Little to inspire fellowship, let alone fanaticism, which is (for most of us here) part of the G6's appeal.

Incidentally, if I could wave a magic wand, I'd limit the term "SUV" to vehicles which have some degree of off-road capability. Everything, just everything, is an SUV these days. Like the RAV4, Explorer, Pathfinder, and and so many other AWD's, etc. etc. These are really high-ceiling stationwagons with open cargo space in the rear, as opposed to having a trunk (i.e. a sedan or coupe). Remember when the enviro-whackos were vandalizing SUVs because they were (purportedly) gas-guzzling ecology crunchers? Now the shopping mall parking lots are filled with them!

PS Congrats on your build date, Buck Yeah. Sure hope build, finish, and delivery go through without a snag!

A Bronco Sport owner is just as capable of being proud of their vehicle as the “Big Bronc” owners are proud of theirs. To that end, it’s reasonable for them to want to be embraced by the community, and for BN content to reflect that. It is, however, incumbent on them to initiate, and then continue to encourage the participation of their fellows to achieve this goal.

Thanks for the good wishes, @BostonBadlands!

I agree! Love my sport and its not a mall crawler. Daily driver? Yes...but also a camping, towing offroading adventure truck/rig/buggy...whatever you want to call it!

Does anyone make a brush bar/nudge bar for the Bronco Sport "Badlands" edition? The only nudge bar I found was from Rough Country, and they say it will not fit Bronco Sports with mounting points for factory tow hooks (which the Badlands comes with),

Ford Merchandise has a fair amount, diecastmodelswholesale has several die-cast. Hobby lobby has this diecast and dicast of the Heritage Sport. There's a cool reward decal from the Off-Rodeo that someone may have and be willing to sell. It has the Sport the, 2 door, and 4 door and says family. When I get home I could send a pic. Barring BN's objection you could have it made into a shirt or other item on Etsy or the like.

True. Everyone should be able to be proud of what they drive, unless it's a Chevy (I kid) the only reason I didn't consider a Sport is because I don't really like SUVs nor crossovers and atleast in my mind I think of the Bronco as more of a truck then an SUV. The Sports definitely have alot of cool features and I have seen them on the trails holding their own with zero issue.

  • To be fair there hasn't been anything new for quite awhile and low supply on some existing items, other then a couple flannels that have sold out too fast and a couple Christmas items. Even the exclusives to "build your own membership kit" are hardly updated. I suspect supply chain issues coupled with additional staff and new ideas have created a log jam that will soon clear. I imagine that as we come out of that there will soon be many new great items for all enthusiasts, including Sport.

I've been looking at some from Black Horse off-road and I just called and spoke with Has (sounds like Hoss) there, phone is 866-926-2867. There is one with or without lights that work with the Badlands, Item #: AB-F07-NL (that's the no light model) and there are a few others available for the non-Badlands trim. I have watched the installation video so it looks pretty straightforward to install.

I agree with you .
Unfortunately the focus for the site
(Seems) to be Rock Crawling & Sasquatch. (“For now”)

I’m not knocking the BN by any means . “Obviously “ that has been FORDs Promotional push from day one. As Ford has pridefully promoted an off the showroom floor “Rock Crawler”.
BN will indeed figure this out eventually , and come to understand what the (Majority) of Bronco owners will be using their rigs for.
Just one quick Example- The Bronco will be / is
a great Beach runner. But you’ll see no videos about other usages yet.

We’ve bought Both,
A Big Bend Sport & a Black Diamond 2 door. they are both dedicated Ski Rigs / overlanders .
I have no doubt that (SPORT) gear will eventually become available.
It’ll happen.
The question is how long.
I've seen lots of videos and pics of beach cruisers. I'm more of a beach/National parks/open road cruiser myself hence the OBX, but the Bronco has certainly encouraged and inspired me to explore more and explore differently in places that I would be terrified of destroying my Mustang. For me I'm here to find local group adventures and people to wheel with especially being new to off roading and the big leagues of overlanding.

To be fair, most of the merchandise is branded "Bronco Nation" and is vehicle agnostic. I see Early Broncos are depicted on merchandise more than any other 6G Bronco or Bronco Sport. Even the Raptor merch isn't Bronco specific.

Bronco does have more representation in the parts sections due to RSE and Heretic only making products for the Bronco. However, ROAM is vehicle agnostic and their parts can work with the Sport. (Just a silly observation, but the ROAM images use Toyotas and Subarus. I think the Toyota 4Runner has more representation in the BN store than the Bronco Sport due to ROAMs advertising.)
*raptor does have Bronco on it. You bring up a good point let's get 4runner outta here. Lol.

I enjoy the info on Bronco Nation. I bought the grill badge that says Bronco Nation. It doesn't say Big Bronco Nation. I looked at the full size Bronco. It's massive. Even though I love it, it's just not practical for me. I am not going to go 4 wheeling on my days off. I'll be on my motorcycle. I chose the Sport, because I liked the look of it and I wanted an SUV that would be capable of getting through New England winters. I'm sure at some point there will be some accessories specific for the Sport. Bronco Nation and the Bronco models are still in their infancies. Just give it a little time.
Funny you mention snow. That's honestly the biggest reason I got the Bronco. It doesn't snow much here but when it does it's bad and nobody knows how to cope. I have a job that I have to get to especially in bad weather and I was always worried I'd get stuck between home and work or get hit by some horrible driver.

Id be happy to have more sport things around here. Its a neat vehicle and I would like to see more of what it can do.

My impression- and Id be happy to be wrong about this- is that the Full-size has more of an enthusiast following while the Sport is being marketed more as a standard vehicle. Thats not to say there are not enthusiast Sport owners, there are a bunch, but that the overall percentage of enthusiast sport owners is lower than the full-size. Thats a pity because the sport has a load of capability right out of the box. I'm intrigued to see what that platform will be capable of in a few years, both from ford and from the aftermarket community.

That said, there is one area where BN's coverage is lacking- The Free-wheelin' broncos. My first bronco love. 😍

One of my friends' dad had one just like this, and it was the first Bronco I rode around in. It was awesome.
Love that Bronco. Personally don't like the 70s/80s van graphics. That were all the rage. Disco a no-go. For me. To each their own variety certainly makes things less boring.
