Vacuum leak or tranny issue?

I have an 89 Bronco with a 300 i6 paired to a c6 tranny. Recently I was forced to drive home with low transmission fluid due to a line breakage. I fixed the lines, but now whenever I put it in drive or reverse it wants to stall out. I'm told it could be a vacuum problem, but I didn't have the issue until after driving with low fluid. I'm hoping I didn't damage anything inside the transmission; it still shifts fine and drives fine. Any ideas?

UPDATE: The problem was fixed; it was actually just a bad iac (idle air control) valve for those of you who were curious or had a similar issue of stalling out.
