Hey there neighbor! I live just outside of Olympia - love going out to the Olympic Peninsula for the weekend to tool around the old Forrest Service roads.

Nice! I actually purchased my Bronco in Olympia in 2014 from a classic car dealer. Back when it didn’t cost 30% more to buy things across the boarder.

I have no idea how in the hell you guys can keep a 41+ year old vehicle from dissolving into dust driving it in the snow and salt of the great white North. My bronco would be locked up and sealed in plastic for 6 months until I was sure all the salt had washed off the road. We get maybe 2 or 3 days a year when they run salt trucks in Atlanta..... and each time my Bronco sits for two weeks after until I'm sure no salt is left. Are there many of these Broncos left up there?

My profile picture is where she sat for most of January..... and that was all the snow we had.

I think British Columbia is worse on rust than Washington since we use a lot of Brine and salt. I have some family in Bellingham and he said they don’t salt there anymore. He also said driving on a snowy day is sketchy. That’s Bellingham/ Blaine area anyway. The key is constant attention to my undercarriage.
If I see surface rust I sand, condition it than POR15 it. I like paint like coats as you can see problem areas start. Undercoatings always hide problems until there is no saving it.
