Yep, there was a plan!! Found these on the wall at Moab Bronco Off-Roadeo's Basecamp Facility. Interesting read - Sorry for poor photos.

Wow so the mirror placement for the roadster looks a lot like 6 gen Broncos.

Right, also note there're 6 models - Going Big on their new U-100 Bucky! Don't know how long Ford had been working their project 'Bronco' but impressive it's approved Feb-64 and sold with '66 model year.

Also, noticed page 4's product features remain g6 priorities - Suspension, turn angle, interior comfort and performance. Some say Ford's Trail Turn Assist feature is there only to better Jeeps' turn radius.

Obviously, Ford's current product planning folks were impressed with this '60s effort too - Our g6 Bronco's are better for it!

It is a very cool display… I would kill for one of the Bronco grills ( first car was a ‘70 Bronco)
