Looked around and didn't see any Pics in the G1 threads. I'm new here, as are most of us, so I may have missed the GEN ONE pics.

Consideration:
Would it create any heartburn with asking our Gen1 Members for some pics? I'm sure our Horses would show very nicely here somewhere...
Cheers mate,

Mine was built by another guy named Anthony who went by xcntrk on the classic Bronco site. I own it but can't take credit for the awesome build. Thanks for the comments! Here is a link to the build thread that Tony put on the CB site. It will allow you to read how he did it, unfortunately the pics are missing. Here you go -

Thanks for sharing. You got a keeper there @ared77

Here is my stable. One fancy one with a Coyote, but put back to its original Grabber Blue Ranger trim package as described on it's Marti Report. It is almost done after three years and too much $$$. I would recommend looking-up the original color of your Bronco first and see if you like it. Most of them have been painted several times. It worked out for me as I really like how my original VIN color and trim turned out.

This one I just bought recently because I went too far on the fancy one and I needed one to just leave stock and bang around on local fishing trips through overgrown deactivated logging roads. Never going to paint this, just put clear over the patina to protect it (after I bang-out a few dents).

This is where I had my fancy grabber blue Ranger trim Coyote Bronco shown above before I decided the Cummins 4BT was too loud and rough. I enjoyed this for several years before I tore it down and started again. I liked this paint job through my 30's. I found my tastes changed now that I am in my 50s.

Nice stable! Love the patina half cab. Early 69? Yup, just clear coat it, maintain it and enjoy it!

Thanks! My patina U14 is 1968. Has a cool PTO winch.

Nice looking Broncos, thanks for sharing. Quite a transformation on that Ranger. Is that Model 94 30-30 in the gunrack of the U14?

Not sure, the pic I shared is from the pics that the guy who sold it shared. Once it was delivered, no gun in the gun rack. Maybe I should claim that the gun should have been included! I was so excited at delivery that I did not even notice/remember. I could email the guy if you are interested.

That's all right, I was just curious. I have one that looks a lot like it.

Looks like the previous owner bolted some type of latch after his original carrier tore the bottom sheet metal mounts off. He did not exactly baby this rig. A true old-school Bronco owner from Montana. Checkout the pics of the odds and ends I get from the sale. My guess is that the guy past-away and the family sold his Bronco. Here was an excerpt from the sale description:

"Same owner from 1970-2020. His plan was to use it as a weekend rig at his mountain cabin for fishing, elk and deer hunting. That plan worked so well that he kept it 50 years. The truck became sort of a local legend, with it's salty owner always managing to be first to where the fish were biting, or the elk were bugling. It's equipped with factory skid plates and the rare accessory PTO winch, Ford part number C6TZ-19E536-C. Overall a correct and original truck that hasn't been subjected to lift kits, big tires, or other such foolishness. Factory chalk marks
still visible under hood and on frame. Comes with manual, brochures, Marti report, original hub caps, and original key and Bison Ford fob. Still running the original CarLite windshield,
and the spare is one of the old red line Goodyear "Suburbanite" traction tires that were on the truck back in the day."

Good stuff! I'm a sucker for original paper work, documentation, and previous owner mods. My 66 u14 came with a ton of paper work, receipts, etc. Everything but the window sticker. Enough paperwork and receipts that I could track the two previous owners from Canal Fulton, Ohio to Sacramento to Dallas lol. I'm in the process of cleaning up my Koenig to put back on a 66 u15 as well.

Nice Rig! Is that your own roll cage design? Never seen an extra hoop like that before at the back. Looks like a pretty handy grab bar if you have a passenger back there.

Ahh, I see from your following pics that you have a U14. The half-cab explains the roll cage design.

Thanks Dave, the cage is not my design, even though I made some changes and added a few things to it. I bought the tubing bent from a vendor and did the welding and extra fab work.
