Driven several cars and truck with column shift 3 spd.

Way back when column shifters were the norm, many guys would modify it so it shifted on the left. It would have a backwards pattern that was great for speed shifting 1st to 2nd and you could drive with your arm around your girl and not smack her in the head while shifting.

Only real hot rodders know this, real old hot rodders.😐

Driven several 3 on tree…. 75 Ford Econoline last one that i can remember. Had no idea the shifter could be swapped to other side.

How much?

My brother has a half cab like that, with a plow on the front. Not in as good of shape as your's though.

My apologies, Thought I replied to you. $85000. Granfather bought it new in 66. Passed to my cousin and to me. Repainted in 2001, my grandmother was conned out of the wheels, so they are not original.

You know, you can easily move the shifter to the floor via a Hurst or aftermaket shifter. I know the iconic look is cool, but, that big chrome shifter and grabbing gears even with a 170 CID six is awesome.

Don't do it. Don't do it. DON'T DO IT!

I traded away my '68 back before they were worth more than my 401(k). Biggest mistake I've ever made in my motor vehicle life. Well.... that whole Fiat 128 thing was kinda bad... but seriously. If I had that vehicle, with that family history, I would never, ever let it go.

Some things are worth more than $$
