Just thought I would start a thread about exhaust upgrades. There is probably one already out there but you can’t really search 👀. I have The CORSA PERFORMANCE EXHAUST CAT-BACK and love it. It is Sport tuned and can get a little loud but I like it that way. I discovered that if you want to tune it down a bit, just go down to ECO mode and you won’t bother your Mother n Law.

Really hoping we get some 2.3L owners responding in here.

My pick right now is the Magnaflow Overland series cat-back. But I’m not married to that decision, and I got time before I can buy it anyway (trying to be a good boy and not charge up the credit card).

Still waiting for delivery of my Flowmaster muffler delete. Works on 2.3 or 2.7 I have the 2.3. Eventually I will be going to a dual exit but I'm still waiting to see if Ford Racing (Performance-whatever) comes out with an axle back.

Ford Performance has the Dual Tip made by Borla that I almost bought. It is actually a better price than the regular Borla Axle-Back. I decided I didnt want the tips below the bumper and went for the High Clearance Single Tip Turndown. Now I want a nice Differential Cover as the Standard (Beer Keg) Exhaust is GONE!

I went with Fast Intentions. Black with slash tip. Tucks up high. Great ground clearance. Great throaty tone, not too loud, but comes alive when you get on it.

I recommend MagnaFlow 2021-2022 Ford Bronco Overland Series Cat-Back $1,099.00 1 $1,099.00 Performance Exhaust System and then I added a Rousch intake, whopple intercooler and VR Tuned ECU Tuning Box Kit V2 Ford Bronco 2.7 EcoBoost 310hp to my 2022 Wildtrak and it is so much more power and sounds great!

I had a Flomaster on an older (2011) 2.3L Ford Ranger I had and always loved the sound so I went with a Flomaster American Thunder axle back on my 2.3L Bronco. Nice deep tone that doesn't drone at highway speeds, isn't obnoxiously loud, super easy install and a very nice price point. I just parked in my first parking garage since the install and I ended up making an extra loop at close to idle just to listen to it. 😂

OK, your 2DR Wildtrak white with the blue stripe looks Badass. I had not heard of the Fast Intentions Axle-back before. I think I would have put it on my short list if I had.

I'm super happy with the Magnaflow Overlander cat-back I put on my 2.7.. not obnoxious, just a little burble, and it's tunable with 4 different settings of loudness, and only took 45 minutes to install with no power tools in my garage.

Make sure you update when you decide and include single or dual tip.

Is it easy to change the loudness setting once it's installed? That sounds like a great feature. Where is yours currently set?

Has anyone installed the Borla Touring? It sounds great and isn't too loud, but it looks like it would decrease my departure angle.

I went with the Flowmaster FlowFX Catback black exhaust. It does have an more aggressive note, but I have had many come up to me and tell me they really like the sound of it. Nice thing about the Flowmaster exhaust's is that they look great, and most importantly, they are not ridiculously expensive.

Corsa on my 2.3, MT. Single exit tucks up high.

Fun fact, not sure why, but I get a very faint pop when in Baja mode. Normal mode doesn’t do it, but very subtle pop when Baja on. I remember one of the charts suggested a more aggressive exhaust note in Baja. Not sure if air/fuel ratios are at play, or timing? Any ideas? Anyone else notice a difference in sportier GOATS?

I rarely use Baja since putting in throttle controller…but the pop made me laugh a little the first time I heard it.

Installed the Borla Climber Cat-Back Touring today on my 2.7 this afternoon. It is slightly louder than the stock, but only noticeable inside when at speeds > 55 where the engine is working harder. It does eliminate the EcoBoost droning, which is real nice; when I step on it, I get a pleasant feeling when I DON'T hear that crappy EcoBoost sound... but it runs "borderline" of sounding JUST A LITTLE toy-car-ish... it's not over the line though, so I think I like it more than I don't. One drawback is on the highway, you hear a constant whirring of the engine... not a rumble, which would be nice, but more of an annoying up and down dissonance. It sounds a lot like stock, but a bit souped up on the low end... but NOT a "that dipshit put THAT on his Bronco" sound. It seems to have improved my gas mileage as well, though time will only tell for sure. It definitely does also open up the rear end. You can see a lot more of the diff and axle now, and don't have a tin can hanging off the back, so it should definitely increase departure angle. I am kind of on the fence sound-wise, but I think I may end up keeping it for the extra room in back and the lack of droning. I would have preferred a quieter exhaust, but Borla's dual exhaust takes up MORE clearance in the back, whereas this cat-back (140901) is high, tight, and away.

Have you used the Eco mode yet? It will calm down the noise a bit and you don't loose power when you need it.
