HI everyone. This is my first time on the site. I just got my Bronco and wondering if anyone had advice on where to take it for some beginner level off roading in Westchester, NY or CT. Thank you!

I would recommend just looking for some dirt roads in Northwestern CT, southwest CT you may not find as much because the communities are much more dense, but the dirt roads are everywhere.

Welcome @NYNittanyLion
There are no real trails in Westchester county - I suggest that you sign up for the Bronco Off-Roadeo and have the time of your life! This program was designed to provide EXACTLY the experience & adventure you seek as a novice

There are a few off road parks in PA (Rausch Creek & AOAA) that are about 3 hours west of you. There is a company called Off Road Consulting that offers instruction at each location and they are excellent. There is also and an outfit called NORA (Northeast Off-Road Adventures) that operates out of Ellenville, NY and does trail rides at Hunter Mountain in Tannersville, NY (not during ski season).

I have participated in all the above and you really can’t go wrong unless you simply go out without any training and potentially cause some damage (either personal or property).

And, congrats on the new Bronco. Post up some pics/details about your stallion

Welcome!!

As others have mentioned, there isn't a whole lot of off-road trails near Westchester or southern Connecticut. Plenty of hiking/biking trails, but nothing that motorized vehicles are allowed to travel on. You best bet is to go to upstate New York, hit areas in Massachusetts, or as @Bschurr mentioned... Pennsylvania.

If you are looking for free public land off-roading, you'll probably have to go up to New Hampshire and Vermont. We have very little wide-open public land in the northeast compared to to the western United States.
