Hi Y'all,

Finally got my 4-door, 2021 Bronco SUV, Big Bend edition with soft top. Love it to pieces. Having issues with the soft top - specifically the clips to release and fold back the top. When I press the gray switch, on driver's side, over 2nd row, it only unclips one side of the soft top. I have found a way to manually get the other side of the soft top to unclip so I can fold all the way back - but not ideal.

The 2nd issue I have, once I'm ready to put the soft top back on, I tried to clip the soft top back in the middle, but the gray switch/clip doesn't clip in. I have to get a few people to help me get it to clip back in. BUT then it's not easy to do the interior clips in the front row, specifically on the driver side. I had to get 3 people to push the top down and be able to clip the interior back in place.

Talked to dealership - they think just user error. Talked with Ford Bronco rep - they said it's not user error. But no one has any helpful advice.

Has anyone run across soft top issues? Any work around (besides an army of people?)

I'd take it to the dealer and ask them to replace it. It'll take a while, but i wouldn't find this acceptable. If they can fix it fine. It should be covered under the new car warranty if it's addressed now.

if the ford rep is saying it is not user error then the dealership needs to replace it or at least see what the problem is

I have had the same issue with mine. I have to go to the passenger side and un lip it to allow it to fold back. When you go to install it back on the front latch was also difficult to get to close properly. There is a pin that needs to ligan up and it took quite a bit of force to push and line up, after it fell into the hole it latched up just fine. Also when fully folded back it doesn’t properly clip so mine rattles around a bit. Small details, doesn’t bother me too much but is a bit of an inconvenience.
