I live in the Midwest where we have heavy snow falls. Will the soft top be ok? I saw that the Jeep soft top is rated for 150lbs.

EDIT: That 15 lb claim is off. Looks like "average snow" is more like 4 or 5 lbs per cubic foot. So you'd need 15" of snow to hit that 150 lbs. Seems more realistic to me.

Snow weight can vary greatly. Average snow - not overly fluffy or overly wet - is about 15 lbs per cubic foot. That's only 10 cubic feet to hit 150 lbs. Stay conservative, and assume the roof has a 4 ft by 6 ft surface area. That's 24 square feet. You'd only need 5" of "average" snow to hit that 150 lbs.

That doesn't seem like a lot to me, which leads me to believe the roof can hold far more than 150 lbs.

Easy snow weight (powder) I've used for years in roofing is every 1" of snow it equals just over 1lbs per sq foot. If its wet snow you can easily add 20-30%
So, your 15" is pretty spot on and even for CO that's pretty darn rare in one storm
Weird was just looking on BesTop since they are just up the road from me and they don't list a weight on their site
