Dang!! You're lucky. I haven't received anything on mine for a production date yet...dealer told me expect a year..interesting. Good for you though. That is awesome. What are your thoughts on the 2.3 in the sasquatch?

I'm coming from a F150 with the 3.5 twin turbo v6. i loved the pep it had in it. I drove the 2.3 and it had some pep but then i drove the 2.7 and I had to have that one. I am a speed junky and want it for fast trail running. I think it really is a preference though depending on what you are going to use it for. The 2.3 should be great for most everyone.

That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I won’t be doing a ton of off-roading, but everyone who has driven the 2.7 loves it. I haven’t heard anyone really say much about the 2.3. I’m sure with the turbos it wouldn’t have any issues rolling the 35’s, but just was curious on your thoughts.

I drove a 2.3 2door SAS, then a 2.7 4door OBX SAS. The 4 door with the 2.7 was noticeably better, so that's the one I brought home. But, I was coming out of a 702HP TRX, so my opinion is probably skewed.

6 am, the morning after the night they opened the order banks, I put my hundred down. I then went in and made it official with my second dealer (the first one tried to gouge me 7 grand, so I found another that promised sticker price and ordered 2/7. Got all my swag (Hammock, Key chain clips, a flag, a poster, and finally, a poster a week after I already had it). Got my build date email 10/30 for 11/15 and then got the phone call it was being prepped at the dealer and to pick it up on December 6th. I am LOVING IT! Can't get enough of it and find things to do to it just to do stuff, like changing the oil at 785 miles! Great feeling to pick it up!

Base 2 dr MIC top 2.7 Sasquatch, no tow (I put it in myself for 300 bucks from Curt) and the overhead switches and the roadside emergency kit, plastic front and back bumpers

4dr Wildtrak, Tow, High Pkg, no MIC, some other non-factory assembled options:
- 12-6-21 order confirmation email from Ford, after walk-in order on 12-3. Dealer verbal, eye contact, and handshake on MSRP (that’s a contract in my book). Dealer also guaranteed that he would mark-up if I back out when it shows up.
- 12-13-21: visited in person on home from work, sat with sales manager, already was posted with a VIN in his system and:
- 2-7-22 Build week
- Called Ford Marketing week of 12-20 and:
Confirmed VIN and Build Week date schedule.
No 2nd email yet

I don’t think I had one - I went in and ordered the day I got the confirmation email. I didn’t do any early reservations.

So, yea, if you just did a "walk-in " order you more than likely got many months of waiting as there are many reservations ahead of you

Ordered a Oxford White 2-door Base v-6, Sas pk, aux light, tow. July 20, 2020. Still waiting. BUT!!! Ford e-mailed me, saying that my Bronco will be 2022. That I could change my build. So i changed my build to an Eruption Green color.......so happy! Si I can wait. Love green. My avatar! Love that Bronco!!!!!!!!!!!
