First time going to Arcadia Management Area in Rhode Island for off-roading. I discovered the Frosty Hollow Road trail through the Bronco Trail App, first time using it.
The main trail was like a regular dirt road with some ruts and washed-out areas. I saw SUVs on the trail (Subaru etc) as it wasn’t very technical. The trail was very well maintained with areas wide enough to get past other vehicles and to turn around. I was shocked how long the main trail was. There were side trails off of the main one that required more technical skills. One of the side trails took me by surprise when I started it and soon realized (to my excitement) that it was filled with large rocks, steep banks, logs, and ruts to navigate in/on/around.
This side trail was a true Bronco trail. Unfortunately I didn’t go down the whole way, however on my next visit I will be.
Overall the trail system was very cool as it was in a neat area with a lot to explore in the Bronco and on foot.
