Request for Assistance – 2025 Ford Bronco Purchase Delay Due to Recall

I’m reaching out regarding a 2025 Ford Bronco that I have placed a deposit on at a dealership in East Tennessee. Unfortunately, the dealership has informed me that they are unable to proceed with the sale or release the vehicle due to an active safety recall, and they are unable to provide any timeline for resolution.

Additionally, I have been advised that they will not move forward with purchase paperwork at this time. This delay is creating several concerns on my end, including:

  • Continued use of my current vehicle, which will increase mileage and reduce its trade-in value
  • Potential loss of Ford incentives that were available in March, with no clarity on whether those incentives will still be honored moving forward

I would also like to share that my grandfather retired from a Ford plant, and I have driven Ford vehicles my entire life. Because of that, I have always had a strong sense of loyalty to the Ford brand, which makes this situation especially disappointing.

Given the circumstances, I am respectfully requesting assistance from Ford Motor Company to help facilitate a resolution. Specifically, I would like to know if there is any way the dealership can proceed with releasing the vehicle and completing the transaction, or if Ford can provide guidance or support to ensure that I am not negatively impacted by delays outside of my control.

This situation has been ongoing for an extended period, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide in helping move this purchase forward.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

I would have the service manager keep checking for you. The fix is starting to roll out now and they are doing dealer stock first. And some dealers are finding a work around.

Recalls are a nuisance, but understand..."If it saves one life..."
