Random question about emoji’s on replies

When trying to to “like” or more on a thread, I get either a full slate (five or six) emoji’s to choose from, or none at all, and the blue thumbs up is registered as a default…

Is this just me? Apple guy here, so maybe it has to do with that.

Yeah I get that from time to time. I also get where I can give an emoji but can’t reply. Usually I just get out and get back into the thread and it clears up.

When I click on the thumbs up it gives me options. Also when I type some words my phone suggests an emoji. You should definitely dump the apple though.
Nah…. Have had Apple products since I owned my first Bronco…. Late ‘70s…

i sometimes get options on the thumbs up, and sometimes if i go somewhere else and come back the options are then available…. Fo figure
