Upon my research, there has never been a 128 count box of crayola crayons, 64 count had a sharpener built in to it.

Steve continues to complain at the hands of Sonya, and today he gets to visit the PTB for some paid abuse (wondering if this is the stuff of sadomasi…. Never mind). Did I mention Steve is also walking in the house mostly without his shillelagh, and he took a 1/2 mile walk yesterday. Better each day.

Hoping your day’s visit to the paid torturer wasn’t all that bad @Bluestreak57 and you at least got a couple of additional points in terms of mobility. Happier still that you’re mobile at home… props to Sonya! 😁

Good afternoon all of you Taco Tuesday Loving Connoisseurs!!!
Just laying here watching the Tigers Astros game……
Not sure how bad of a situation our company is in now that I have been on medical for the last week now.
Just got word that one of the CNC Thread grinders just packed all of his tools and walked out….😳
That only leaves me and one other person who has limited ID CNC grinding experience, and he hasn’t done any grinding in a couple months.
But this is all another problem for another day!!!
This has been my toughest road to recovery so far, more pain than I had ever expected, even more than my last surgery which was in June…
The good news this time is that it is a permanent fix, and the pain will be all well worth it in the end.
Looks like I have lots and lots of posts to go through, and see how well everyone has been behaving, hopefully not too many shenanigans and Tom foolery’s have been going on while I was somewhat out of commission..
Can’t help noticing the Threads main page and the picture that has been switched out from @ResidualGenius

Wondering how the east & gulf coast ports' strike may effect you. Wifey askes what should we stockup on? While I've worked several shipping company audits, tax issues & stuff, no expert, but here's some stuff for ya.

The ILA strike's effects container & car-carrier shipping at 14 east & gulf coast ports. Here's today's container shipping tracker for US freight. The units are 'Twentyfoot Equalivant Units', so a typical 40ft container = 2 TEUs.

This website lower center graphic describes the materials categories inbound to US ports. Obviously, this is only a very summarized version of effected goods.

This strike may not have a significant effect, if resolved in few days to a week. Beyond that, could be really difficult for big box stores like Walmart, Home Depot, Lowed, Target, etc, etc.

BTW, global shipping and US in particular is a very weird business. For example, the owner of the largest eastern ports operating company is the Canadian Pension Fund. Also, one of the largest container shipping companies currently on the board that's negotiating with ILA is COSCO - Owned exclusively by the communist government of China - Yeah, VERY weird biz..

Oh should mention, the 2nd item in that lower center graph ' Nuclear Reactors' isn't really that, it's actually a poorly worded machinery category description..

Heck, I'm most worried 'bout the last category - Beverages, SPIRITS!!

A pot of Sumatra dark roast is ready. There’re also fresh croissants, butter, and an assortment of spreads on the counter, if it strikes your fancy. Personally, I just need the coffee and I’m hoping it jumpstarts today’s allocation of brain cells so I can give EEFFOC. 🤓

Met with the PTB yesterday, and received a gold star, as did Sonya for continually abusing Steve Austin in order to get his range of motion where it needs to be… everyday a little more progress, and about the time we get Steve Austin ready for prime time, it will be time to do SA 2.0 (left knee) sometime around Thanksgiving… woohoo!

Funny story… I share with my PT about BN and our many adventures, and that here on the thread my new knee has a name… This millennial had never heard of Steve Austin so I had to explain the whole $6M Man thing to him… Funny

My financial feed announced this morning Ford sales year over year were up, which is always encouraging. I so enjoy seeing new BN members jump on and introduce themselves and their rides to the tribe…
