New Retail Order Bank August for the 2024's???

We know that IF Ford reopens the order banks this year, it'll probably be in Q1 2023 (likely February).

But we don't know if Ford is going to reopen order banks or not, they haven't said either way. It depends on how many reservations were canceled, and if they weren't canceled... what they ordered. Ford is having the most trouble building Broncos with hard tops, as well as Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak Broncos with all the bells and whistles. And it just so happens that is what most people are ordering.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ford kept retail order banks closed for 2023MY and just let dealers submit stock orders for lower-trim Broncos. If that turns out to be true... then yes... August/September 2023 is when the order banks will likely open for 2024MY.

But if my hunch is wrong and they do open the order banks this year, they won't be open for long. Maverick order banks were only open for about a week and a half before they sold out.

A lot of dealers have spec'd orders to put in as soon as the order banks open. I work with two people who have their specs into their dealer to be entered. I think @RagnarKon is correct, they won't be open long...

Pure speculation at this point. Just like I was told on this and the other forum even though my Bronco was scheduled for production it would be 10 to 12 months waiting on dirt mountain for chips yet three weeks later my dealer texted me and said it's here when do you want to come and get it. I can tell you that the guy in charge of orders at my local small high volume third generation owned dealer checked with his higher ups at Ford and was told retail orders will be in February and most likely be a small window but that it's not official yet. Of course I put a preorder in for my next Bronco. Again take this with a grain of salt but I have good reason to believe it to be close to the truth.

Talked to my local dealer (DFW) today. Asked if they were taking pre-orders for when the new retail order banks open back up. They said no, because the next order bank could have different options and everything as to be resubmitted into the new order banks.
Then asked what they've heard about the order banks opening back up and they said August for the 2024 edition.

Anyone hearing anything different? It seems hard to believe Ford will take on no new orders for the 23's, especially now that they've purged the order system in November.

they havent completely purged the order system. Pretty sure there are still many of us that havent received build dates yet. I spoke with my dealer 3 days ago & he only had 2 that got build dates throughout Oct/Nov.
