Hey all!

Our Bronco story.
My wife and I were driving home after dinner on Valentines evening. She said "let's pull into the Ford Dealership on our way home, I want to see what color that Bronco is". It was night but it was parked under a light and it was a Shelter Green and a Raptor. We loved the color and everything else about it until we saw the window sticker price. We both just agreed it was BEAUTIFUL, kinda laughed and said nice to dream.... As we are driving the rest of the way home she goes to the dealership website and then sees it's a 2024 and they have a HUGE discount on it. We had a 2021 Limited Explorer with 40,000 miles on the clock, she suggests "maybe we can take the Explorer in tomorrow see what they would give us in trade and willing to walk if they don't.". The next day we take it for a test drive, she falls in love, they totally gave us a fair price for the Explorer, we drove the Bronco home that day.

A couple funny things to mention, my wife is very practical, she doesn't do ANYTHING spontaneous, I'm the car guy in the family, she could not give two $#!ts less what she drives as long as it's comfortable...

Now we take the Bronco to the grocery store, park it way out there, as we're walking in, she stops, turns around and looks at it again... LOL

We're signed up for the Bronco Off Rodeo in Vegas in May and we are both STUPID EXCITED!!

I'm sorry your post slipped under the radar -- that's a great starting story to ownership! She has excellent taste; your Bronco is awesome. Did you both drive at Off-Roadeo? The Raptor experience is the only one I haven't gotten to do yet; what was your favorite part?

Are you part of any of the Bronco clubs yet? There are plenty of great people to meet up with (whether you are off-roading yours or not), and I can think of at least one Raptor owner in Texas who uses his to the fullest, if you're ready to get all you can out of yours!

Howdy neighbor, Sorry we all missed the original post a few of us were in Moab about that time. Beautiful rig you have there. I feel if you don't look back at your car when you park it, it aint worth driving. Glad you took advantage of the Off Roadeo it is worth the price of admission. Hope to see you on the trails.

No worries Laura, I remained undeterred from the sound of the loud cricket noise. LOL

We are not in any Bronco clubs yet. I am a Mustang guy and I'm on the GT500 forum. I have been dragging my wife to Mustang and Shelby shows for the past 3 years. The tables have now turned. I showed her some huge Bronco meets (via youtube) and she said "Oh yeah, we're doing that!".

After I get rid of some projects I'm going to probably start looking for a Gen 1 Bronco (1966-1977) for me.

Congratulations and you have an awesome rig there! There are several of us here who are Mustang and Bronco fans! I just recently sold my last Mustang. First time in 17 years not having a Mustang. But I am replacing it with another pony! 👍🏼
