Hey all - I'm a full-time RVer originally from Toronto, Canada. Just bought my first Bronco last week, a 2024 Outer Banks, and I am stoked about the freedom and flexibility it'll give us on our travels. We normally spend September living off-grid in northern Ontario, but we've been limited in where we can go and explore in our little Chevy Sonic.

We spend our winters south, in Vegas the last couple of years and planning to be there again this year. I'm already booked for the Nevada Off-Roadeo in December and I can't wait!

Looking forward to meeting new folks, learning new things and enjoying some adventures.

Welcome to the tribe, and Happy Thanksgiving!

You will find the folks here to be helpful (most of the time), Funny (some of the time), and likely irreverent (all of the time)…

Congrats on the Outer Banks… If you’re going to tow it flat behind your Beast, I would recommend going in to a dealer and getting an “official” tutorial on getting the Bronco into neutral tow mode…. There have been many sad stories of folks that didn’t do something right with towing and tearing their transmissions out of their rigs… just my 2¢ worth.

Congratulations on your Bronco and welcom to the BN Corral! I hope you enjoy your stay. Feel free to ask your questions and expect folks here to share their insights.

…and yes, do post (a lot) of pictures about your Bronco adventures.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, definitely planning to flat tow... that sounds a little ominous. I've read (and reread) the owners manual section on recreational towing and it seems pretty straightforward (transmission in Neutral, select Neutral Tow from the instrument panel options to put the transfer case in neutral) - but now I'm second guessing that 😅

You will likely be fine, but if it were me, I would go to my dealer and walk through the process with them once… I’m a big believer in making sure, if I’m not sure…

Happy Motoring… my wife is salivating over your motor coach…

Welcome to the Nation!
Be warned... after the Off-Roadeo (BOR) you might be hooked on Off roading and find your Vacations will revolve around trails. Sand Hollow Utah is only 2 hours from Vegas. I'm just saying. Hope to see you on the trails!

Welcome from another in the GTA!

I just got back from the Nevada Bronco Off Roadeo over the weekend. You will definitely be impressed by your experience at Mt. Potosi. First class guides and facilities.

Hey, thanks! Glad to hear it! I can't wait.

Are there any easy trails around here you'd recommend? I was looking at heading out to Ganaraska Forest this weekend and seeing what it's like, just to get my feet wet - or my tires dirty 😀

Unfortunately, there are almost no trails in southern Ontario. There are a few “no maintenance” roads in Durham Region (Boundary Road, for instance) and more just over into Kawartha Lakes. Further afield there are lots of old logging roads across Muskoka, Minden and Lanark Highlands. In Simcoe County, many of the Regional Forests have “no maintenance” roads across them (just stay on the “road” - trails are off limits and patrolled). Check out 2nd Line North, Oro-Medonte.

You may also want to take a look at the Ontario Bronco Club’s facebook page. They host group drives periodically.

Me at Nevada BOR last weekend. Fun, fun, fun

Great pic! That gets me more excited :D

Huh! I had read somewhere that there aren't any trails in southern Ontario, but that's totally not what I understood from the Ganaraska Conservation website. They've got off road trails and park fees listed on their site, and there's stuff in the rules that cover non-ATV off road vehicles.

I'll definitely check out that group on Facebook too. Thanks!
