I posted on the “Welcome” thread, but I figured I’d create a new post and introduce myself.

Howdy all! My name is Juan, I am new to the forum, however I purchased my First Edition bronco back in April as a birthday gift. I was originally in the market for a Badlands, but I could not pass up on this low mileage, well equipped F.E. in Lightning Blue Metallic 😍 it has been an amazing experience and such a thrill since driving it off the lot.

I hope to gain more knowledge and make new friends along the way. I am very excited to have finally joined The Bronconation family!

As I understand it, the First Edition is basically the Badlands Lux with its special, early production badge. So you got your Badlands.
My experience is a little similar. I put a deposit on a Badlands High Package, and was prepared to wait. Then: my then-current ride needed some very serious repairs, and another dealer notified me of a cancellation on a Badlands Sas-Lux. So I pulled the trigger and bought it, with admin markup. But considering what I'd need to shell out to keep my older car for another year or so, the arithmetic worked.

1. Attend bronco off-roadeo where you can learn all about your Bronco and how it performs off-road.
2. Join a nearby club where you can go on runs with a group.
3. Join Bronco Nation, as has been mentioned above and ask questions here. Also, a lot of good information is already here on the site and you can use the search function to maybe find some answers without even needed to ask.

In either case, get out there and explore, and have fun!

I'm from SoCal, so I know there are a lot of us on the forum. I would love to attend a Bronco off-roadeo. There are so many videos I've seen about it, and I can only imagine attending. I would also love to join a club and make Bronco friends along the way, but all in time for that.
