I know that to optimize all that the Bronco has to offer in off roading like one pedal acceleration and braking, you need to get an automatic transmission. How much am I giving up then of the different GOAT modes if I opt for the standard transmission which I really want? I know I'm missing something here, but If I'm doing all of the accelerating, braking, clutching and gear changes, what does it matter then what pretty GOAT graphic glows on my dashboard? Isn't it all the same?

They adjust steering, braking, and throttle inputs, as well as automatically select 4x4 modes and traction control settings, and (if equipped) lockers and sta-bar disconnect. Handy and convenient, but I'm not making any model choices based on which modes are available.

It will depend on the trim level you get and squatched or not. The Goat mods basically package the items you would need in that situation. You would just have to turn things on and off manually for instance the front locker. You also give up turn assist by opting for the MT.
But I guess I will find out for sure when my Bronco get here I’m going MT

What about steering and throttle control w/o GOAT mode?
I get that there are buttons for most of the physical drivetrain and suspension configurations, but is there a way to change the throttle response and steering without using the GOAT selector?
