Hello BN. I have a ‘21 OB 4 door 2.3l with trail turn assist, 2h, 4h and 4l. When i am at a standing stop snd I turn the steering wheel all the way in either direction, the engine hesitates and then jerks foreward when I press the throttle. Brought it to ford dealer service and of course they couldn’t replicate the issue.
Feels to me almost like trail turn assist is being activated but not when it should be.

Usually when TTA is on you can hear that brake working and usually a clicking as well. Did you roll your windows down and try and listen for that?

I have not experienced the lurching in my Bronco as of yet but I also have not tried using trail turn assist yet either and probably never will.

That’s the standard answer most of the time now from a dealership “ we can’t replicate the issue “ . Good luck maybe it will only take 4 or 5 trips to the dealer. Make sure you video the problem when it is happening.

I wonder if the auto start/stop has anything to do with this.

Sounds like it might be in 4H. My F150 will do this on dry concrete if I forget to put it back into 2H. Just a thought.

If after the dealer you still experience it, schedule another appointment and have the service writer or a mechanic ride along with you so you can point out the noise.

I felt a similar thing when I first test drive the Bronco. I was in the process of turning the vehicle around, and navigating among parked cars and the wheel kept jerking. It was strange. I figured I’d chosen the wrong mode or committed some other operator error, but then it smoothed out afterwards.

No. It’s a deeper sound like tire or brake related
