It's here — the official kickoff of the summer road trip season! National Road Trip Day happens the Friday before Memorial Day every year, and it's when everyone starts to get excited about their summer travel plans. I love, love, love a road trip, and already have a few on the calendar. While the extended road trip is not possible for me this summer, we're hitting the road for some quick weekend trips throughout Michigan (which is totally OK, because there is no place like the Great Lake State in the summertime!). 😎
