Hello Bronco Nation, question about "Molly Straps"

Finally got our Bronco (934 days), 2dr. Badlands, Sasquatch. As we're digging through everything, we have a "Molly Strap" system on the rear seats, and we're wondering if it's supposed to come with "Molly Straps"? Not the biggest deal, but as we're starting to tie gear in for our adventures, they might come in handy. IF they come with the bronco, is there a common place they get put? We found the front license plate bracket under the passenger seat :-).

It does not come with MOLLE straps, but Ford does offer a handful of MOLLE accessories on Ford's Accessory website.

The MOLLE system itself is standardized across the armed forces of most NATO countries (since the mid-90s I think?). So military surplus stores have lots of MOLLE straps/pounches/etc. available if you are looking for stuff.

Hey Mike,
The Bronco's do not come with any Molly Straps, though you can get them from innumerable sources. Congrat's too on your 2dr Badlands, you will love it!

No problem!!

And of course there is plenty of MOLLE gear made by other companies, especially now that the outdoorsmen & overlanding communities have picked up and started using the system—probably the reason why we see it in the Bronco.

But yes... the MOLLE mounting system was first widely adopted by the military. So you'll find the most MOLLE gear in military surplus, and companies that produce gear for firearm hobbyists, hunters, airsoft players, etc.
