My Outer Banks is on its way from California where I bought it long distance for shipping to Kauai.

I just joined BN and it is my belief I am the ONLY BN member in Hawaii. So far.

Welcome to Bonco Nation. I can't recall seeing anyone on this forum from Hawaii.
My wife and I just got back from a vacation in Hawaii. We were in Kauai for 5 nights. What a beautiful island. In fact, we took this picture at the Ford dealership in Kauai.

Yep, that is the only one on the island. The reason I had to order long distance and pay for extra shipping to Hawaii is that dealership marked up the very Bronco you put in your picture by 38k OVER Msrp. Can you believe it?

Yep, unfortunately I can believe it. Too many dealers are doing the same thing.
Did you order that Bronco or is that their demo model?

Well, Kenneth, I'm afraid you'll just have to represent Hawaii until you can convince others to purchase their own Broncos! At least on Kauai. (Enjoyed my visit there in 2014)

Born and raised on Oahu, but now on the mainland unfortunately.. asked my dad today if he has seen any around yet (on Oahu). He has only seen the sports. Not sure if the dealerships even have the big broncos yet?? Or no one is buying them because of the stupidly high markups.

$38k markup!??! That's crazy. I was considering ordering from CA also, but saw they had a $35k markup!

I have only seen 3 others prior to getting mine 2 weeks ago, and stopped by the dealership this past weekend and saw an Area 51 OB being delivered to the new owner... My husband said he saw a 2-door... I know the dealership owner has an Area 51 FE that I've seen, and there's someone else on island that has the same. So that's 7 (incl mine) between the two of us that we've seen. I know as of 2 weeks ago, this dealership (largest Ford dealership on island) had only delivered 7 out of the 40 that were allocated them (out of 200+ pre-order deposits that were originally made)...

PS one of my good friends lives in Kapa'a :)

I don't know if this was directed at me, but I will unabashedly post pics of my girl, Max, anytime (and especially with my doggo, Orion)! :LOL: I think my friends are sick of seeing them. haha

I love all the little Easter eggs they put in... I won't post more so you can discover them for yourself, but the bronco in the headlight is a nice one. :) I also swapped out black lug nuts for the silver ones and added locking lugs, since they don't come with them and I've read some negative stuff about the OEM locking lugs rusting (and being in Hawai'i with salt air/humidity, that would be of big concern).

Aloha - a first edition has been delivered to the big island. A blue wild trax MIC has also been seen in Hilo.

Aloha H2O, would you mind sharing what locking lug nuts you went with and where you got them? Looking to do the same with mine.
