Generation 5 Bronco interchangeable parts

The OBS Broncos (1992 -1996) are 90% the same as a Short bed F150.

If your looking to buy new body panels..... they are cheap... and get the ones that are listed for Broncos. They will not be a perfect fit ... but you don't want any surprises.

F150's do not have the Fiberglass top or the same tailgate as Broncos. If your looking at junk yard body panels ...... Throw the Bronco Panels in the truck .... and match them up.

If your looking for a F150 Donor. Try and get the same year as the Bronco ... there are little changes to the ABS ... and 1996 is MAF .... But most parts are interchangeable. Try and keep it 4x4 .. the transmissions have different output shafts ... And alll Broncos are 4x4 the donor should have all the 4x4 front end pieces and transfer case as a Bronco.

If your looking for a f150 Donor. My advice is to get a 1996 4x4 5.0l manual tranny. It is really nice to have OBII and mass air flow. Since your looking at pulling parts off a donor ... it would be a good upgrade .... and all Broncos should be a stick shift.
