Flat Towing, what are the "Gotchas"?

So we're planning on towing our Bronco behind our bus, we intend to take it offroad...a lot! Are there any issues or trade offs flat towing, vs. a trailer?
Things that come to mind:
1. Replacing the rescue hooks on the front for tow bar mounts. Has anyone found or used any quick swaps units?
2. What about a winch. We intend to put a winch on this (Rough Country above bumper unit), any issues?

Any thoughts from folks who've had their Bronco longer than a week :-).

I need to flat tow the Bronco. I see there are issues with the EBB (brake system) and Ford is working on a software update. The Brake Boost system will lock up with the update. I have called Ford tech support and been to 3 dealers and spoke to Service GMs. NO ONE seems to know about the sw update. I dont want nor have a trailer to tow it with.
Any one had any luck with flat towing?? I have a 2021 model with I4 engine.

I use a Blue Ox hitch to tow with on a Jeep now. I want to tow my Bronco but if you tow you must have a brake system on the tow vehicle. I have a AirForce One brake system installs under the hood, but there are issues with the Bronco with the Elec Brake Boost system locking up on Broncos. Ford says a software fix is coming Dec 2021 but didnt happen. I can only guess not enough flat towing Broncos to get this fix done? Also looking for someone that flat tows to tell me how they do it?
