After contemplating it for a while and test driving several different models/versions of the Bronco I found the one i wanted yesterday. I went up to test drive a 2 door Badlands non-SAS in Velocity Blue. I honestly wasn't all that jazzed about it but as I was pulling in from the test drive I saw a 4 door Badlands SAS in Velocity Blue and with the painted roof. I got the keys to test drive that one, and made the decision to buy it an hour later. Got about 7500 dollars off because it was just made part of the dealers loaner program but only had ~90miles on it. The dealer also gave me a good price for the BS Badlands I had.

First thing I did this morning was take it to a local trailhead so I could take pictures of the mountains and it in front of the mountains.

Beautiful Bronco, @broncorado! I'm a little biased about the color. 😉

Nice pic, btw. I wonder if it was the Sasquatch package that sealed the deal. If you were willing to test drive both the 2-door and 4-door models, I'm inclined to believe that the number of doors was not a factor in your decision.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

I think the longer wheelbase made the ride a bit better for me. The SAS was nice as was the fact that it had the painted top and not the MIC hardtop. I had originally come to test drive another model with that but it was gone already. This one had just showed up in the loaner sale program yesterday. Plus I do love the color.

Those painted tops are pretty sharp. Also, if you got that, I think you automatically got the sound-deadening headliner. I'm glad you got that Bronco and it sounds like you got a great deal! Enjoy your Bronco. I know you will.

Another guy that has a picture of his Bronco with mountains in the background. You don't know what you're missing until you live in a flat land state that has trails so technical that a Prius can run along side you.

I have a 23 4 dr., non SAS, Badlands. Small issues so far, overall a good truck. Enjoy the mountains!!

Still pisses me off that the Prius beat me down the trail!!

Congratulations on your Bronco, and for saving some money on the deal! Are you familiar with Bronco Off-Roadeo? I'm not sure if a loaner vehicle sale is considered new or used, but you likely have the ability to go.

Thanks. It's still considered a new vehicle technically because it was never titled. So I think it qualifies for the Off Rodeo.

I'm curious what it was between the 2-door non-Sas and 4-door Sas that made the difference. (BTW, Sas for Sasquatch, SAS for Solid Axle Swap). 🙂

Congrats, gorgeous! I have a 23 4dr velocity blue OuterBanks, loaded, except for SAS. I really wanted it when I ordered but it wouldn’t fit in the garage 😆
