Do I need the Advanced 4x4?

Pick the 2.3 over the 2.7 was told the difference was not that much. But what about the gears?

It depends on how you are going to use it. The A4WD acts like all wheel drive in wet and slippery conditions. If you are not driving in that, and are comfortable with the 4L/4H for off road use, then I think you can let it go. Everyone who has used it in snow and slop seems to like that option however.
