got dirt

Wed at 9:59 pm

When I bought my badlands sasquatch high lux in December during remote start my seats, steering wheel and rear window defrost came on automatically as controlled thru my settings on auto.
Then they stopped and will now only operate once I've entered the vehicle and hit the start button which I'm told by the dealership is correct.
Can anyone out there confirm that your remote start and auto warming functions operate like this. Why else would there be the ability to switch off or last setting.
Think I need to contact ford and ask WTF, any comment help, thanks

I don’t recall my remote start kicking on these options. What happens in the summer? Is it smart enough to kick on the AC instead of the heat?

This is he same thing that happens in my Ford Truck. It either senses the temperature and adjusts accordingly, or its based on how you had the heat/air conditioning set when you last ran the vehicle. Pretty sure the Bronco's would do the same thing. I haven't remote started my Bronco enough to notice, but it does work that way on other Ford vehicles.

I agree. 2023 Bronco Outer Banks hi lux would turn on heat, seats and steering wheel. AC in the summer. My wife has a 2024 F-150 and it seems like it did and then didn't. I don't know if it was a software update or temp sensor that might have a set point that isn't readily determined. Similar to the fact that the OAT displayed never seems to match the real temp. If you find out, let us know.

Every vehicle I have had with remote start Fords and Chevys would turn on the seat heaters and heat in the winter and turn on the seat cooler and AC in the summer. Never owned a vehicle with heated steering wheel. But we bought my some a new Trax that has the heated steering wheel and it hasn’t been cold enough to have the steering wheel heater.

My 2023 badlands sass high lux turns on the seat steering wheel and heater with remote start when temp is low outside ac in the summer. Think your dealership is misinformed.

confirmed. You are not stupid.

My bronco turns on heat on steering wheel, heat, rear window defrost, and cabin.
Sometimes the passenger seat, but not sure why not consistent..might be because of previously on/off...dont pay attention to that.

Might also depend on the actual outside temp. If it did it at 40 below but not at 40 above, it could be working properly.
