Bronco Raptor Dealer Markups

I am a reservation holder time stamped prior to 3/12/21. I have responded that I am interested to upgrade my order to a Raptor. Unfortunately my dealer is saying the only way it works, is if I add my name to a list they have already started that is 7 people deep. Their rules are I'd need a $1K deposit, and pricing starts at $25K over MSRP. They do not feel they will get more than 4-6 Raptors allocated to their dealership, so if I was willing to pay the premium over MSRP, I'd be pushed into 2023.
I currently have a fully loaded Badlands on 99 hold for a few features, like the Slide Out Tailgate. The dealer told me yesterday that the slide out tailgate will not be compatible with the LUX package, or bash plates on the Badlands, so -- Not orderable if I want a Badlands. Learning all kinds of conflicts and obstacles to getting what is advertised. I guess fortunate to be price protected for whatever I can get with the Badlands order!

Are others being told --- Only Bronco Raptor advantage to a backordered wait lister - is the opportunity to get on a different waitlist to pay a $25K premium over MSRP?

Are others hearing that the Slide-Out tailgate isn't compatible with the Badlands Trim?

D&C- give it a bit. Folks are supposed to have their interest email click back to Ford by 3 Feb, and the Ford will distribute the lucky tickets then. No one really knows what this is going to look like. An ADM discussion is the thing to have, but you probably need to know whether its even possible for you to get a slot. After that, it will be shopping that slot around.

Yeah... I am trying to stay optimistic - but the dealers have their own set of rules. I don't know why they can fly the big brand above their dealership when they don't need to abide by brands game plans. They have their own rules... like a realtor. If someone will pay more than MSRP, we sell it at our price. one time sale, as who would come back to that.

Very true, dumb me just assumed that the Ford directive/message to dealers on reserved Ford Lightning would apply going forward to include the Bronco Raptor

NOt even talking to my dealer until Ford puts out the reservation list and whatever else they are putting out for us. Dealers are going to 100% screw the customer with ADM fees on this to make money for the Bronco shortend. So, until FMS makes a written statement I'm not talking to my dealer. Will I lose out maybe, would I et outbid 100%, but at the same time they dont need to know my plan either

Communicated with my current dealer and another dealer whom I am considering transferring my order. Current dealer: forfeit Badlands order and $50k mark up on Raptor. Same Mickey Mouse list with first come first screwed deal. Other dealer: Keep both orders if I choose, honors MSRP on Badlands and $20k mark up on Raptor, no mention of list.
