Bronco Heritage Limited Resale Value

I completely understand the allocation process for the Heritage Limited but had a question. If a dealer receives their single Bronco Heritage Limited and decides to sell it on the open market, what are your guesses that sticker price will be? Looking at Braptor prices on the open market I’m curious what the market will support on the Heritage Limited.

As I've said on other discussions most dealers will only get one. A very few may get two. I have a feeling many will become dealer owners display pieces for their showroom or climate controlled collection garage. So very few will make it to market initially. You can expect to see prices well north of $150k for any that are sold initially. I'm sure many won't see Barrett Jackson or Mecum for several years. And I highly doubt you will ever encounter one on the road.

Guaranteed a few will hit the block as soon as the buyer takes possession.Haven't seen an auction in the last six months without a new Bronco rolling across the block.

Oh I'm sure there will be a few. And the first few will get a mint. But many will sit under glass for several years.

They will never have value like the first gen.People think that a modern vehicle could appreciate like a vintage car, they don't.Once the current craze is over, thats it , its done. They don't hit the marks.

Look ahead 50 years like the gen 1 is now. While not every car will be a "classic" some special ones will be. For instance, Dodge is phasing out the Hemi. In a few years Hemi equipped challengers may very well command a high price.

I'm guessing someday people will pay $50,000 for a 2023 Chrysler 300 SRT...like $50k in 2023 and then some amount less than that every year until they all get crushed.

The Bronco is being sold based on great marketing and hype. It's just a SUV. Every car manufacturer is throwing red tow hooks, or a big red "R" on the grille and calling it limited edition. They aren't.

The GT has all the traits that make it collectable.Low production numbers alone don't make it collectible.
It has to be desirable, low numbers, special in its class, styling and performance above others in its class.

The best part is, everyone going nuts over a First Edition, or a Heritage Limited, paying big money for either one.

And yet.... these are 2021 & 2023 models. I thought the Bronco came out in 1965? In my opinion, there really isn't anything special about that. But to each their own.

Contacted my dealer as instructed by Ford. They have an allocation that and I requested this allocation per terms we agreed on that includes a 5k ADM. Of course I may have the rug pulled under me but I did have this in writing with two salesman and GM.

The Heritage Limited isn't falling under any of the allocation rules. Around 1/3 of the dealers in the US will get two units. The rest will get only 1. And they can't be ordered. They get what Ford sends them.

So your dealer is already guaranteeing you will get their only (maybe 1 of 2) Heritage Limited for only $5k over?? I just find this impossible to believe when many dealers are selling base models for $5k over. If anyone gets one of these for any less than $25k over I'd be shocked.

Are you sure they aren't thinking you are interested in just a regular Heritage.

There's a sucker born every minute...It's a Badlands with different clothes on. There is nothing inherently different about it to make it hold "rarity" value.

The cars that are going to valuable in 50 years are the ones that 5-20 y/o's* today lust after but can't have or built up memories with their family in. That's what they'll want to relive when they hit middle age and have money to burn on a classic car. Will the 6G Bronco have that kind of nostalgia, who knows.

*this presumes that Gen Z cares enough about cars to ever think about classics and that the microcips that control every part of modern cars are still in inventory somewhere such that they last/can be repaired to be around in 50 years.

I've confirmed that this is the Limited. MSRP days are near. Will they change their mind once they see the demand, maybe. The orginal post asked what the sticker price, this is my experience so far. I'll update this post if things change.

MSRP days are near yes. But this is not a regular production Bronco that anyone can order and buy. Even when you could buy an F-150 for below invoice many dealers were still getting over sticker for Raptors.

Not to be a total doubter but I will believe it when I see it.
