So I ordered my Bronco Big Bend last October and have been patiently waiting for Order status up dates. I decided to contact my dealer to see if they know anything. They told me that I have a VIN and a build date of March 7th. I have not got any communication from Ford on any of this. Anyone have this issue and know how to get these updates from Ford?

My step son ordered one 3 weeks ago, also just got his build date of March 7th. From what I understand, the emails so many people got are for reservation holders. Walk in's don't seem to be getting the emails.

Ahhh... Ok. That makes sense. Thank you.

Yeah the only communication late order customers without a reservation seem to get, outside of the initial order confirmation email, is from their sales people. They get notification when one of their orders gets selected. It's up to them to contact you or for you to hound them weekly.

I was a reservation holder and never received any communication from Ford when I got my VIN and build date. I would not have known if my salesman didn't excitedly call to tell me the happy news 3 days before Christmas. I think the communication from Ford has been lacking lately. Heard from a lot of people on here that they are not getting much from Ford now that things are rolling out. But I could just be a fluke too, so who knows.

I just got off the phone with Ford and they confirmed the 3/7 build date and my VIN#. They could not tell me anything else about it and kept referring me back to the dealer. The only other thing they told me was that I wont see the window sticker until the vehicle is built but because I ordered from the dealer, they would be the ones to get the window sticker and any other communication from Ford. I guess I will have to keep on the dealer about updating me as I did not know a thing until I contacted them enquiring about it. No biggie I guess but would be nice to get this information directly or at least forwarded from my dealer.

My experience is a little different. I ordered and signed an MSRP purchase agreement in the dealership on January 11, 2022 (Big Bend, MIC, mid package, tube step, roof rack). Got my vin and February 14, 2022 build date emailed directly form Ford to me just 11 days later on January 22. I had to contact my dealer and let them know.

Must be the way they enter the contact information or something I guess? What is your build date?

Wow! that is so quick. I placed my order in November and my build is march 7. I thought that was quick. It seems strange to me that your build is before mine. Oh well... At least it is not over a year from now like I originally was told it would be.

Yeah, I’ve seen in other posts that the particular accessories and packages you choose, the number of orders from your dealer, where your dealer is located can all effect the timing. And, mine isn’t on the line yet…so we’ll see! Here’s to hoping ours both move as soon as they can!

I called Ford today and gave them my order number and dealer code, they told me that pulled up an order for a maverick, an escape and an explorer but not a bronco.
I did not order any of those. I am excited but really in no hurry. I was just curious. Now I just feel paranoid.

CONSIDER truck drivers have been REALLY making a mess of getting anything as promised, AND freight ships have also been slowed almost to a halt. I can somewhat understand the issues, but everyone gets affected at some point, and that's just wrong. I completely disagree with EVERYTHING my Country is doing right now, but can't do a thing about it. Before jumping in someone's face, make sure you know what's really the problem - please.
