Anyone out there upgrade their tire size on the Outer Banks 18" rims? Will 285/70R18's work? I want a beefier tire but do not want to cause rubbing/ problems. No lift as of yet so I would want to order based on what I have now. Thanks everyone for any and all info!

285/65r18 works just fine. 285/70r18 is probably right on the border of needing a lift. Granted, as long as you are not beating your truck against the rocks or zooming through the desert I don't think you'll have an issue with 285/70r18. BUT, if you intend to use your suspension to the fullest of its capabilities, probably worthwhile to add a 1" leveling kit.

I upgraded to 265/70R-18 FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T3W SL on 18X9 GRANITE ALLOY GA643 from tirerack and it looks and drives great.

Can you share photos with the 265? Anyone have photos of Outer Banks on 285/70/R18?
