Back to Ford
I’ve had three Jeeps (86 CJ7, 77 CJ5 and a 2002 4XE) and an old school full sized Bronco (83) all modified (lifts, roll cage, etc) except my leased 4XE which was a turd and we finally turned it in. I want to get back to off-roading so bought this stock Sasquatch Badlands and am really impressed. Just passed 1K miles so time to get it dirty. First purchase will be Baja Designs S2 SAE Pro fog setup unless anyone has a better desert night wheeling lights recommendation. Stoked!

Welcome to the Nation. You got the right color. Baja Design is a great choice, and adding fogs is a game changer. Believe it or not “A” pillar lights come in very handy.

Yes. Saw those as well. Baja Designs usually have a 25% off Black Friday sale so have time to decide. Agree on the color - was thinking Grey but really like this sand color.

If you want to do some research/homework other lighting options I would consider are, Diode Dynamics, Heretic, mishimoto, and KC. Most of these guys were just running July 4 sales maybe they are carrying the sales over. Also if you purchase Heretic from BN you get a discount for being a member. Lights have been selling like hot cakes lately and it is not uncommon for them to be on back order I had to wait a month or so to get my Diode Dynamics a few months ago. Also, I am running a set of HF 3” pods for my ditch/“A” pillar lights they were just used for testing but, I see no need to upgrade them. They are actually well built and put off adequate light.

Nice rig, although I’m a bit perplexed. The grille and wheels look like they belong on a Wildtrak but the fender decals (and your description) is of a Badlands. At any rate, I hope you enjoy your new Ford as much or more than your Jeep forebears.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Thanks! Will research the others. Baja Designs is local here in San Diego but open to others if good quality

I've been very satisfied with my HERETIC Road and Fog lamps and I'm going to be installing their ditch lights next weekend. I did a dry fit recently using the Mountains2Metal brackets. which also lets me mount my Midland radio antenna. I purchased the Heretic lighting through Bronco Nation and was able to get a Bronco Nation member discount.

Welcome to the Nation. I still have my 1947 Jeep and a 93 bronco, the new gen 6 is way too much fun. It's the go to rig.

New guy here...just wanted to say hi and looking forward to all your help, input and advice. Just purchased 2025 badlands on Saturday, after owning jeeps most of last 40 years. Retirement is new to me and I'm excited about the bronco. No big plans yet but I know I'm going to have to use the pre-wired auxiliary switches for something... no way to let a good thing go to waste.

I wish I had my old rigs! I did a Rancho IFS lift on my driveway on my 83 Broncho. I still have trauma from removing the factory rivets with a corded electric drill! Do like the new Bronco a ton but old school rides were easier to repair/modify on your own.
