VIN# 001 Bronco to be Sold at Barrett-Jackson

The Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, will be the site of the sale of the first 2021 Ford Bronco. Ford Motor Company will auction a 2-door First Edition, lot# 3008, for charity with 100% of the hammer price to benefit the National Forest Foundation and Outward Bound. VIN# 001 is expected to be sold at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021.

This Bronco 4x4 is the first of only 7,000 total First Editions to be built for the 2021 model year. Here are a few details about this all-new Lightening Blue 2-door that’s up for auction:

  • Includes the Sasquatch package with factory 35-inch tires
  • Powered by a 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost engine that delivers approximately 310hp and 400 ft/lbs. of torque to a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed Advanced 4x4 system
  • Equipped with a HOSS System, including an independent front suspension system with Bilstein position sensitive dampers
  • Features limited-edition badges, graphics and Safari bar

For 15 years, Ford has been auctioning off iconic Ford models, raising millions of dollars for charity. This year, Ford will also auction off VIN# 001 of the 2021 Mustang Mach 1, Friday, March 26 2021. The Bronco and Mustang represent two of the nine charity cars expected to roll across the block at the Scottsdale auction.
