I also like the DeLome Atlas & Gazetteer, available on a state-by-state issue, which is tied in to the Garmin GPS product line. You can check out topography and locate lots of unimproved roads and trails. Start easy, if you're new, and start building up and getting experience with your recovery gear. Been to Rausch dozens of times in JK pretty awesome place, never been to aoaa but I hear it is even more challenging.
