My first trail ride and it was a blast. Also my very first and maybe last attempt at a YouTube video. This is of Peters Mill Run near Woodstock Virginia. Indy and I taking our first adventure together. Peters Mill Run is a 3 of 10 rated trail that is about 8 miles long, a great trail for a beginner off road newbie like myself.

Looks like a fun time. It would be interesting to know the purpose of the windsocks....

I could not say but from the looks of the place and the way it just drops off it’s the perfect launching pad for a hang glider or para gliding. So I assume they are used to assess wind speed, direction etc. for safe launching. That spot was about 2000 ft up.

Wow making it a whole 8 mile trail in one song is impressive. 😂
Looks like a fun trail with a pretty nice view at the end. Good to see you are getting the Bronco dirty, and spending time with Indy.

It’s a nice trail for a newbie like myself. I went after it had been dry for a few days so no water on the trail but lots of dust!

Well I figured no one would want to listen to me jabber for the whole video. Anyone wanting to view gets a moment of me but 90% of it is all trail and music. It was a fun day for sure. As a first trail it filled all the buckets for me! Indy did alright. He’s found his niche in the back with the rear seats folded down. The back is his and I get the front seats.

Yeah, that's why I was looking at it. I'm originally from the desert, so this style of offroading is new to me.

If you do it, do it early am if on a weekend or anytime on a weekday. It can get crowded during the midday as ATVers use it too. Also it’s very narrow so not many places to pull over for traffic coming the opposite direction. The local park rangers have a pass purchase plan too so one day for the trails is $5.00. you can pick one up at the 7-11 Inc. Store 28429, 340 W Reservoir Rd, Woodstock, VA 22664 Or the Exxon opposite the highway.
