You'll need to help us with areas you are either close to or could travel to. There are tons of places like Vernal where Safari is and then where United By Bronco is down near Zion - but these are a haul from Moab.

I can travel to any of the areas. I don't live in the state. Would plan a trip based on where I'm headed to. So looking for other areas to visit. thanks

I know @MIRunner wheeled in the Hurricane, Utah area a couple of years ago. He may have some insight.

There are 1 or 2 other areas to explore in Utah. Do you have some other parameters that could help us narrow it down? Do you need proximity to airport? Lakes? Forrests?

This can get you started maybe?

We stayed at Sandhollow state park for a few days on our way from Las Vegas to Moab. The lake is pretty cool didn’t get in because they had signs about some bacteria that make you itch, that was enough for me to pass even though it was 102 degrees while we were there. Didn’t do too much wheeling there just helped a few folks stuck in the sand by the lake. And stopped by MORR to check it out. It is on my list of places to go back to, to do some wheeling.

In my opinion, the vast majority of Southern Utah will satisfy your needs. In addition to what has already been mentioned, here are a few other areas worth considering:
*Hole in the rock road
*San Rafael swell
*Poison Springs road
*Orange Cliffs (Glen Canyon NRA)
*Maze District (Canyonlands NP)

Example: Start off SR95 at Hite, traverse Orange Cliffs, up the Flint Trail, across Maze District, and out to SR 24 north of Hanksville. 100 miles off road from pavement to pavement. Figure minimum 10 hours with short lunch break.

Moab is great, but there is a lot more to canyon country than elephant hill.

Hurricane has some awesome trails around it and Sand Hollow is a great place to wheel. Rattlesnake Gulch to Toquerville falls is one of my favorite trails and is just outside of Hurricane. There are lots of trails around the area and then you have Sand Hollow which have plenty of trails and also sand dunes as well. Sorry these are Jeep pictures on a Bronco site. We have both (Jeep and Bronco), and took the Jeep out to Hurricane a few years ago.
