Day trip today up Summit County, Montezuma Road's Peru Creek Trail in late September. This is an old (1870s) gold/silver mining district with the Pennsylvania Mine's Tram House high above tree line at 'bout 12,000ft elevation.

Having recently returned from a Colorado (and NM) trip, I'm convinced one could spend years exploring trails in Colorado and never have to repeat a trail while continuing to experience amazing views and adventures! Now I'm just struggling internally with "why do I live in the southeast?!" :-)
