Wife & I visited family over Thanksgiving week. This 2,400mile trip's WildChild's 1st. I had replaced the Sunrider soft top with Ford's hardtop, for it's quieter highway ride. Bronco's upright & comfy seats made our 4 day round trip quite pleasant.
IMO, Bronco's highway goodies are Ford's Adaptive Cruise Control, the displayed speed limit, windshield wipers that cover almost the whole windshield, smart timezone changes and sure the lane assist wiggling steering wheel too.
Here's some WildChild trip telemetry. I didn't feel Bronco getting blown around much, but we noticed wind speed/direction noticably effected our MPG. We had pretty significant headwinds for parts of both our trip south and return. Before the headwind our MPG was 19, after 2 - 300 miles into a 10 - 15MPH headwind, MPG reduced to 17..

We left Evergreen, CO at 20f with snow cover on the ground, arrived south of Houston mid-70s - Everything still green!

And strange looking critters

Oh, gotta add that WildChild wasn't kind to this fellow that rear-ended us at a stoplight on Old Galviston Rd. Buggered up his Chevy's front bumper cover pretty good - No damage to Bronco.
I suggest he be more careful on these busy roads!!

We enjoyed Bronco's funny sunrise shadows driving back.

Overall, gotta say we're very happy with Bronco's highway manners. Ford has created a very capable off-road adventurer and comfy road-tripper too - Thanks Ford!!
Cheers
