It was also fun for a Newbie like me, because there were plenty of people (but not too crowded)...in fact was taught how to get out of a snow rutt by a passerby (probably to help me avoid sliding into his truck, but he was nice about it)

Had a chance to get the tires (and everything else) dirty on an easy trail above Big Bear.
