Hope you're not considering relocating to the East. It's getting crazy (and expensive!) in so many ways. Stay out of the "Acela Corridor" (Richmond VA to Boston) unless you have very compelling reasons for coming here. These areas are suffering very significant out-migration.

Early start may help, never know 'bout these storms. Supercells will develop along your route on Saturday, so could be some hell from above for ya. If you find you're sharing the highway with a bunch of storm chaser trucks - STOP, Turn around!

Yeah, happy to read you folks are OK. Naters are presently on the ground north & east of Omaha and into Iowa. 10 tornado warnings are outstanding, with 5 confirmed on the ground.
