Bit off the Bronco topic, but did a fun video for everyone who likes freeze dried food while out and about. Here's one on Mt House vs Peak Refuel Biscuits and Gravy. Enjoy!

Nice review, Brian! I've never backpacked/needed dehydrated food yet, just camped with fresh/day hiked. But one day I'll do overnight hikes and kayak trips, so it's great to have a starter on this.

Thank you! I'm a minimalist in regards to camping and freeze dried food helps A LOT with the limited storage in the Bronco. All you need is a few packs and a jet boil!

That makes sense, and I'm down two doors than you, AND no roof rack yet. Saves trips to town every couple days for ice too.

I love Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast although I've never tried it freeze dried. Maybe I'll give it a try.
Where do you usually pick up your freeze dried meals? Local store or online?

Here's a link to Amazon where I get it. Not all freeze dried meals are good. After several years, I go out with the ones I enjoy. Mountain House Biscuits and Gravy is known to be a better choice among freeze dried eaters!

Be sure to shop around online. Goes anywhere from $9.99 - $22.00 depending on the site.

thanks for mailing in šŸ˜ Mountain House fits his needs better, both tasted good but Peak Refuel is more calories and soupier.

Thanks. I've been a Mountain House fan for a long time, decades maybe, but there are a lot of other companies out there now, probably having Mountain House make their freeze dried food and rebranding it, but who knows.

Great. Now I’m hungry again. And I just ate breakfast! This is a great idea for a video. I never weighed which product I should bring with me on the trails, then again my experience is somewhat limited. Wise to consider before heading out, for sure. Thanks, Brian. Food for thought. Get it? LOL šŸ¤“
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.
