As we all prepare for the day, we convert our 2021 Bronco reservations to orders, you might consider organizing your features/options and understanding the associated order codes. We have many hard-working Ford sales staff who will be entering these codes into the web-based order system. I suspect these are all new codes for them and us. You can help your sales staff by doing your homework and going into the process prepared to check and double-check the codes entered.

In a way, this could be wicked fun since we may be better prepared than most. Big Thank You to @David and the entire Bronco Nation staff for helping get us to this point.

I have included an example of my code prep. Note: The last code and description are listed in italics since I was not sure the sales staff needed to make an entry. It does have its’ own unique code, so I listed it in my prep sheet.
  • Badlands 2-door: E5C
  • Carbonized Gray: M7
  • Marine Grade Vinyl: 1V
  • 2.7L Engine: 99P
  • 10 Speed Automatic Transmission: 44T
  • Sasquatch Package: 765
  • Hard Top, Molded-In-Color (MIC): 43L
  • Lux Package: 334A
  • Tow Capability: 53Q
  • Hard Top Sound Deadening Headliner: 60B
  • Floor Liners, Front and Back: 47B
  • Roof Rails with Crossbars, Black: 863
  • Front License Plate Bracket: 153
  • Emissions Standard Equipment: 425

Never thought about doing this. Wish I had this much information when we bought our house I wouldn’t have had to bust out the horrible backsplash tile the first week we lived in it.
I will definitely put my list together.

My dealer said, this morning, he'd put the order together with the order codes and send it to me for review. He took the ball and ran with it.

I can tell you I have been through this process in the past and it is very methodical work. You should request a printout of the information entered into the web-based system. I suspect there will be no descriptions, just a collection of codes. You need to count the codes and make sure they match your total. You need to be certain codes are not incorrect. It is easy to accidentally have a “T” become a “P”, or an “M” becomes an “N”. Take the list home and have a second set of eyes check the printout. I can not stress enough how challenging and important this process is in getting your dream Bronco.

Good tips Buzzy! Last thing any of us want is our Broncs arriving with the wrong equipment. (y)

The wife is really pushing for it. She was so excited one day she came home and said the standard trans has a C gear that for crawling. I knew then she was hooked on the 7-speed. I really want it to but since this will be a car she will drive a lot I figured I could live with auto.

@BuzzyBud I took your suggestion and matched my build sheet with the order numbers. Even took it a step further and added a category of what I will upgrade my build with in March after seeing it in the B&P update. Also an OPTIONAL category for things I really want but could always get later (if my financial sense beats out over my desire)

What is the tonneau cover for?
A few things

  • Provides visual obscurity (security) for what's in your cargo area
  • Keeps cargo area items intact
  • Can stack "light weight" items on top
Check out the Tonneau cover here - Some of my favorite Overlanding details on the Area 51 4 door | Bronco Nation Forum (thebronconation.com)
It's the fabric piece above the fridge

Heck of a thread folks. Great job @BuzzyBud.

One thing to note, Ford is asking dealers to provide the WBDO print to confirm your order. Make sure to ask for it and check carefully. Understanding these codes might help out, we don't know what that print looks like yet. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the codes play into it.
