My Outer-Squatch has been sitting on a lot since it was built on 6/27. I live in California. Does anyone know how the strike affects delivery? Do teamsters have to drive the Broncos to the train station if it is being shipped by rail? Thanks!

Good question honestly.

I will say UAW does not handle shipping. BUT... it is customary for union members to not cross the picket line of another striking union out of solidarity. And at the same time not all of Michigan Assembly is shut down.

Do you know if it was actually been released for shipping?? If it was actually fully completed on 6/27, I would have expected it to ship a LONG time ago. But since it hasn't I'm wondering if it is waiting for a missing component or two.

Mmmm unhelpful as usual Ford. It does suggest it’s been completed, but would need to see the internal tracking status.

I’d ask your dealer what the current status is and if it’s been released for shipment. If it has, they should be able to see it via VIN View (internal system to track vehicles).

Mine sat completed at the storage lot in Wayne from May 29 until August 11, and it was delivered 15 min. away to the dealership I bought it from. Assuming the strike doesn't affect anything, it'll probably sit for a while longer.

Not sure how shipping will be impacted, Wayne assembly has a rail loading area next to one of the storage lots on site. Fingers crossed it make it out to you sooner than later.
