Houston Area Ford Dealer

Hey fellow Bronco friends, have any of you had any success with the Houston area Ford dealers? I ordered my 2 door base from Tommie Vaughn in October, and have yet to have any new information. Although they are a reputable dealership, I feel as if I should’ve looked into this before hand. Has anyone had any success/positive feedback from your dealers? I’m just really hoping it doesn’t take more than a year to get my base model :-/

You can call the the # that has been posted on some of the other threads and speak to a representative. Give them your sale code (F and 5 #s )and the order code and they can tell you the status.

Oh ok, I will try to do that. Even if I call them, they still may not be able to give me an update though, right?

800 334 4375 they gave me a status " still processing " the rep I spoke with was extremely nice. When you get the automated voice just say bronco order

What I can tell you about Houston Ford dealers: Joe Meyers Ford screwed me on my Sport Trac order in 2000. Do not deal with them or their snakes in the grass. McRee seemed to do a decent job for most folks in Clear Lake/Dickenson but they were not sharp. Left the Focus ST’s in transport mode, dead batteries on some cars/trucks. Tommy Vaughn upsold my sister because they could but if you watch your six you should be fine. Autonation… is the same as everywhere. Haik, same story. The others I did not deal with directly but didn’t hear any horror stories.

I also used Gullo Ford. Ordered a base 2 dr, 2.3, manual, hot pepper red. I ordered late 01/22, so I have a ways to go.

Most of us folks that made a reservation in 2020 and ordered a 2 door are still waiting for a production date. If @BekahBoo321 first ordered in October 2021, without a prior reservation, it's not certain, but likely she won't see delivery by October 2022. Sorry for the reality.

That’s insane that the 2020 orders haven’t come in yet! It’s mind boggling, considering the 4 door peeps are getting theirs so much faster. I know the whole soft top issue, but I figured that would’ve been rectified by now. Maybe I’m too optimistic :ROFLMAO:

I ordered mine with a little specs as I could-with the exception of a roof rack and automatic transmission. Surely that wouldn’t take more than a year? Did you guys have any additional specs on your order? I have plans to do several aftermarket add ons.

I ordered a 22 2.7 badlands Sasquatch with the high package and tow. I took delivery last weekend. Order was put in end of October 2021. No markup or dealer add ons.

So here was my process. Reservations were halted for a bit. I went to my dealer, and I ordered directly through them in October, and the next day I got an email from Ford confirming my order. Is that not the same as a reservation?
