Dealer sold my Raptor to someone else

Golden ticket holder here - followed my build on the Ford tracker. When it was listed as "in delivery" I got excited and awaited to hear from my salesperson. Days pass, I look on the tracker and it says it was delivered. I send an e-mail to my salesperson, no response. Try calling, number was disconnected. I call the dealer's main line, talk to 3 different people. Finally they admit the car was delivered and they sold it to someone else. I was never contacted. Wondering what to do next?

Call Ford and tell them you had a named order, but the dealer didn't honor it.

That's an awful situation, and I'm sorry you're experiencing it. Unfortunately, once the Bronco is sold, one of the only actions you can take is contact the Bronco Support Team. It won't get you that vehicle back, but they can make a note about the dealer. 800-334-4375 or chat

Pretty much this. Ford’s customer service has zero empowerment to do anything for you at all.

Thanks Laura - I already filed a complaint with Ford. I didn't know about the Bronco Support Team - is it worth filing one with them, too? I suppose it couldn't hurt.

Yeah, I assume I won't get any satisfaction from @Ford Motor Company or the shady dealer. Mostly just venting, TBH.

Oh I'd be pissed too myself. Post the Dealer name on here since we all know @Ford Motor Company isnt going to do anything and I'd bet they sold it for a hefty ADM fee

Honestly, I think they're all tied, but some lines go more to customer service help and some go to more of a marketing/brand team, like the one I listed.

Ford has some priority codes lower than 10 for situations where things go wrong, but I think the order banks would need to be open and we will need to see what they do with ordering Raptors, but someone with more knowledge might be able to give advice to that.

If it were another model Bronco, they might be willing to hunt another one down for you. Doubt that’ll happen with a Raptor.

Was this just a reservation thru the Ford website or did you have a signed order from the dealership ?

the BBB is nothing more than a marketing company, they have zero legal power to do anything but have been good a brainwashing people to think they can. Pay your monthly and yearly fees to get a rating and then if you want ratings to disappear pay them more.

I have a signed order build - that's how I got the Golden Ticket allocation. I basically view that as a right of first refusal, but the dealer needs to actually contact me so I can make the purchase/pass decision. The dealer is Pierre Ford in Seattle, WA.

They can't do anything. BUT they can lower there grade with notes so others don't use them. You can't buy ratings. Ford also doesn't do anything but they don't have a sentralized public consumer rating either to warn customers. Consumer complaints and grades can effect things such businesses costs and insurance as well.

You 100% can buy rating with the BBB. Look at insurance companies that have 70-80% negative ratings and have B+ or higher ratings then tell me money doesn't buy ratings. They literally pitch you to pay more for a better rating and leads, been there played their games and their leads suck too!

@jparker this dealership is listed in your MSRP thread as a dealer that honors MSRP. Dealers that steal orders should not get positive publicity on Bronco Nation. Would you consider removing them from your list so this doesn’t happen to someone else?

Please and Thank you.
