Cancel order or buy it and try to sell?

So I put an order in earlier this year for a 4 door Black Diamond, hard top, sas. Anticipating I wouldn’t get it built this year I found and bought a Badlands soft top non-sas off the lot, and actually love it more than I think I would my original order.

I recently got word that my order would get built the end of October. I plan on just keeping my Badlands, but what should I do with the order? Should I call the dealership and cancel it? Or is it worth it to try to buy it and sell it afterwards?

Just drop the order. Dealer will sell it no problem.

We bought a stopgap Badlands until we got our factory order. We traded in the first and took the new one.

The market is no longer so hot you can just "flip" a Bronco. I would tell the dealership you plan to cancel the order.

You probably won't be able to sell it for more than MSRP plus the tax you'll pay. The market is not hot right now, even with the big strike happening. I'm watching one that the dealer ordered in my name right now. They started with a 10k mark up, now it's down to a 5k mark up. Fully loaded Wildtrak. Let it go if you don't want it.
